Love it! Yum, ebelskivers! (I love 'em with buttermilk syrup!) I LOVE President Monson! My favorite talk was from the YW Gen. Pres!
Other faves from today: Donuts, hubby making lunch, clean floors, happy kids, babies folding arms to pray.
i have enjoyed this weekend as well.. I always look forward to this weekend. All the talks have been so wonderful. Miss Emily has been taking lots of notes, We have a GC fireside tonight......
Great pictures...
I love conference weekend. The spirit, feasting on the spirit. The uplifting that it gives me. Also how I find answers to problems.
Bradley had a hard time today keeping quiet. So far Elder Cooks talk really struck a cord with me. Can't wait to print it off an study it.
Mmm, Ebelskivers. Makes me wish I had some right now. That looks delish!
Love the five senses post idea!
I'm impressed that your boys watched so well. Let's just say it didn't happen like that at our house...
I love General Conference, so much. I always want to be better. Every time.
Yum! We had Ebelskivers also. It's tradition!
The Ebelskivers? Looks really good! Sounds interesting. Love your post, and your sweetness!
Wendi you always do such cute things, what a good idea to have the 5 senses. And I have to say it was a great conference wasn't it?
How funny, we debated doing ebelskivers for conference breakfast too! Anyway, it was a nice conference, especially the Saturday sessions.
It was such a great conference...just what the doctor ordered! Thanks again for your email! I know that you were teasing me when you said that you didn't miss the burping! LOL
I love how it rains on General Conference weekend! It's so nice to snuggle up inside with your sweats on and sits in front on the TV with the family.
What a fun way to post about General Conference....I love the 5 senses idea!!!
I loved Conference and took lots of notes for the first time since I had my kiddos....life is good!
I love reading everybody's General Conference posts...most of them seem to be food-centered...my favorite!
And, Wendi...go see a gastroenterologist about an esophogeal web or Shatsky's ring. That's what I have. It grows in my throat and makes it tighter and I choke at the most embarassing moments. Now, I go every six months to get it dilated and WOW! what a difference.
Just my helpful hint for the day.
Doing this a bit late (we were gone this weekend for business, so I missed conference):
hear: kids playing
smell: scentsy wax. mmmm fall scents are the best!
taste: peanut butter on celery
feel: happy...i've spent a lot of quality time with my kids today.
see: my family, enjoying time together AND the changing aspen leaves.
Wasn't conference just awesome?! I really enjoyed the children's choir!
Great post and pictures!
heard: the sounds of children playing
smelled: the horses from our walk
tasted: yummy homemade soup by Troy
felt: little hands reaching up for me while walking
saw: the world through their eyes
This is such a great way to post conference. It looks like such a nice cozy day. Ours was a little caotic. Oh well... we tired at least. LOL
Lets just say that your conference morning and mine...well, were quite different.
I did enjoy the wonderful messages though.
