"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experience." Gordon B. Hinckley, 2006

Christmas Eve Shepherd's Dinner

Stars were gleaming, shepherds dreaming

And the night was dark and still.

Angel's story, manger glory

Shepherds heard it on the hill.

Ah that singing, hear it ringing

Earthward winging, Christmas bringing

Hearken we can hear it still...

What do you do on Christmas Eve?

Gosh, it seemed like you actually had the Christmas spirit at your house. I love what you did...maybe we'll copy that and dress up next year. Looks cool!

great pictures... and a novel idea! The Nativity DINNER! There is nothing so good that dinner with it doesn't make it just that much better. Did you get some cool clothes? I got a sweet Peach colored guayabera shirt with zipper front- Goodwill 2.99! Maxwell was the good gift giver this year. Merry Christmas to you and your family. Say hi to Brian.

I love it!! We still do our family nativity, too, but I usually don't dress up. Maybe we will start that next year.

I love how your pictures turned out. Can you tell me which photo editing software you are using? I just got a Nikon D90 and I need some really good software.

I want to know what software you are using also.

We started a new family tradition this year by making churros. It was yummy.

What a great idea, you all look so peaceful. Check out my blog to see what crazy stuff we do on Christmas Eve, lets just say it involves over 50 people, but soooo much fun. Merry Christmas to you guys!

I really liket his idea. We read the Christmas story from the Bible after having spent the previous 23 days reading Christmas stories, songs and scriptures.

I love the pics, especially baby jesus looking up at the camera and smiling! Too cute. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas! Sorry about the other day at Costco, it took me by suprise when I saw you and I was on the phone, so I tried to hurry and get off so that I could say hello, but then you were already out of sight. Speedy shopper you!

What a neat Christmas Tradition! We go to read Luke 2 then head over to Grandma's for Hot Cocoa and Toast. On the way home we drive by the Temple to look at the Christmas lights and then look for Rudolph's nose in the sky. We toss out the reindeer feed and some carrots, read 'Twas the Night before Christmas, and tuck the little ones in so the real work can begin.
