Joey's baptism day was one of those perfect days that I want to freeze in my brain forever. I know it seems like no day can really be 100% perfect, but this one really was. This was a different side of Joey I don't really know if I've ever seen before.
He woke up at 6:00 a.m., as excited as if it was Christmas. He came in and woke us up and said, "I'm getting baptized today!" He just beamed and glowed the whole day. He was so ready and prepared for this, and really knew what this step of baptism meant. I'm so proud of him.
We had lots of people come to support him, and it meant a lot to us! We have such a great family!
One neat tidbit: Brian got to baptize Joey in the same exact font that he got baptized in many years ago!
Then we came back to the house and had a luncheon with family and friends.
A perfect day.
The best day ever.

Ian and i was looking at the pictures on your blog, and he saw the picture of you dad and some older men. Ian says to me " Are those men from the Quorum of the twelve?"
So cute..
Happy Baptism Joey...
Holy cow! He is sooooo grown up! WOW! You don't even look pregnant! Your still so tiny....not suprised. ;-)
The cookies were DARLING, where did you get those? Love it. Ana is getting baptized this August, our kids are just growing up! Congrats Joey on making such an important decision!
Looks like a wonderful day.
My mom ordered the cookies from a lady in Salt Lake. I'll have to find out her info for you.
