"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experience." Gordon B. Hinckley, 2006

Love it! Yum, ebelskivers! (I love 'em with buttermilk syrup!) I LOVE President Monson! My favorite talk was from the YW Gen. Pres!

Other faves from today: Donuts, hubby making lunch, clean floors, happy kids, babies folding arms to pray.

I love conference weekend. The spirit, feasting on the spirit. The uplifting that it gives me. Also how I find answers to problems.

Bradley had a hard time today keeping quiet. So far Elder Cooks talk really struck a cord with me. Can't wait to print it off an study it.

Love the five senses post idea!

I'm impressed that your boys watched so well. Let's just say it didn't happen like that at our house...

Wendi you always do such cute things, what a good idea to have the 5 senses. And I have to say it was a great conference wasn't it?

How funny, we debated doing ebelskivers for conference breakfast too! Anyway, it was a nice conference, especially the Saturday sessions.

I love how it rains on General Conference weekend! It's so nice to snuggle up inside with your sweats on and sits in front on the TV with the family.

I loved Conference and took lots of notes for the first time since I had my kiddos....life is good!

I love reading everybody's General Conference posts...most of them seem to be food-centered...my favorite!

And, Wendi...go see a gastroenterologist about an esophogeal web or Shatsky's ring. That's what I have. It grows in my throat and makes it tighter and I choke at the most embarassing moments. Now, I go every six months to get it dilated and WOW! what a difference.

Just my helpful hint for the day.

Doing this a bit late (we were gone this weekend for business, so I missed conference):

hear: kids playing
smell: scentsy wax. mmmm fall scents are the best!
taste: peanut butter on celery
feel: happy...i've spent a lot of quality time with my kids today.
see: my family, enjoying time together AND the changing aspen leaves.

This is such a great way to post conference. It looks like such a nice cozy day. Ours was a little caotic. Oh well... we tired at least. LOL

Lets just say that your conference morning and mine...well, were quite different.

I did enjoy the wonderful messages though.
