"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experience." Gordon B. Hinckley, 2006

"Love Day" with the people I love..

We started the day (like practically everyone else in the world) with pink Valentine's pancakes--or as my kids call them, panacakes.

Isabel had decorated our bedroom doors. She loves doing little surprises like that for us.

I had little presents for the kids (forgot to take pictures), and as part of their presents I told them I'd take them to Build-A-Bear. I've never done that with them before. It was really fun (and really crowded). Wilber said he didn't want to make one, but he had fun watching Isabel and Joey make theirs.
I had to snap a picture of Isabel and Joey holding hands--they were like this the whole day. It was really sweet. (I have to take pictures of sweet moments like this so I can savor them. It gets me through the days that they fight and yell at each other all day. As you may have noticed, I don't take pictures of that--I'm happy to forget those days!)
Afterwards we all went to the indoor swimming pool--it was fun to watch it dumping snow outside while we were indoor swimming. Brian gave me a shirt with angel wings on it, and matching earrings and necklace, and said it was because I was his "angel." I'm a very cheesy person, so I totally loved it. (I gave him Pez. Maybe I need to step it up next year.)
Then to finish off a perfect day--date night with my best bud and a yummy dinner with some fun friends. I love Valentine's Day. What a happy holiday.

I hope you all had a great Valentine's Day and were able to spend some time with the person/people you love!

Love, love your shirt. What a sweet honey!
Ok, what kid doesn't want to build a bear at Build a Bear? My kids each have at least 3 of these things and they still always want to go. Luckily they have friends that like to do parties there.
Looks like your V-day was great!

Andy had a heart attack that I made pink heart pancakes. He was so embarrased to be eating pink food. What a boy.

Sounds like the perfect day! I kinda miss making pink pancakes. Somehow it just isn't the same making them just for dad.

What a sweet hubby! Build-A-Bear is such a fun treat for Valentine's Day too! I can tell your little Isabel is going to be a great Mom like you, since she's already planning sweet surprises like that!
