"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh your memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experience." Gordon B. Hinckley, 2006

Isabel

Yesterday Isabel asked me if she could do anything around the house to earn some money. I assumed it was so she could buy some stuff from the little store they are having this week at her elementary school.

Today after I picked her up from school I asked her what she had bought with her money, and she said she had put it in the jar at school for "Quarters for Christmas!"

That's the spirit of Christmas.

Since I do not know her personally I do have to say she sounds like the sweetest little girl. Very nice of her to share with others...

What a nice girl you have! What nice parents she must have to teach her so well!

This girl has a heart of gold, just like her mommy. Seriously Wendi, you are the most genuinely kind person I've met. I love that we got to work together and at least let our kids meet.

oh how nice, although i DO have a love affair with quarters...I love to go to a laundry matt and change a 20...and then have them in my purse...it just feels like such a bounty...so sweet...
